Official Master’s Degree in Criminological and Victimological Intervention

Description
The Official Master’s Degree in Criminological and Victimological Intervention is the first official master’s in criminology for the comprehensive training of professionals in the criminological and criminal justice field, intervention and treatment of victims and offenders, and crime prevention. This official postgraduate degree in criminology boasts a top-level university faculty, as well as experienced psychologists, criminologists, and legal professionals. Criminality, its consequences, and everything surrounding it have always been, and will always be, topics of great personal, social, economic, and political importance. One of its characteristics is that the problems associated with the phenomenon are constantly changing (increasingly rapidly), as are the strategies to address them. It is evident that socially and academically, the need for advanced studies in this area is fully justified. This generates, as a result, a growing demand for training and research in this scientific field. The Official Master’s Degree in Criminological and Victimological Intervention, for the comprehensive training of professionals in the criminological and criminal justice field, intervention and treatment of victims and offenders, and crime prevention, taught in Spanish, aims to equip students with the necessary skills to evaluate and intervene in the individual and social spheres, promoting and enhancing preventive aspects related to crime, delinquency, and victimisation.
